This camera doesn’t require any assembly and is ready to mount straight out of the box. It’s really easy to set up- just plug in the USB cable to an outlet and it powers on. All you have to do to get it up and running is to download the iCam365 app, sign up for an account, scan the QR code on the camera itself, purchase a 4G data plan and you’re ready to go.
The picture and video quality is excellent and available in FHD and HD. For video recording, you’ll need a micro SD card which can be inserted into the camera (under the rubber Reset cap) but if you just want a live camera that will send you alerts and photos of when it detects motion, it’ll do that even without the memory card. It’s very functional- the app can pan and tilt and you can turn on the sound and hear what’s going on or speak through it to anyone who is in range of the camera.
I’m glad this doesn’t rely on WiFi to work- I find those kinds of camera unreliable and I didn’t need a whole security system and subscription- just a simple outdoor camera and this does the job perfectly for a very reasonable price.

I use this camera to monitor a second home for security. I was impressed with the ease of set up. The instructions were minimal but the features are fairly intuitive. I think this camera does quite a lot and was perfect for my situation if not having internet. I like having live feeds and ability to adjust the lighting and the camera remotely.
